1/ Problem
Many users already maintain organized watchlists across platforms (Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, Bloomberg, IBKR, Excel, etc.). Today, creating baskets in liqn requires manually creating each basket and adding tickers one at a time.
2/ Ideal Solution
Support direct import/sync of existing watchlists from platforms such as:
Yahoo Finance
Google Finance
Interactive Brokers (IBKR)
Bloomberg
Other major watchlist providers
The imported watchlists should automatically become liqn baskets.
3/ Fallback Solution
If direct integrations aren't feasible, support bulk file import.
Accepted formats could include:
Excel (.xlsx): one worksheet = one basket/watchlist.
CSV: columns such as
Basket NameandTicker.
The agent should automatically:
Read the uploaded file.
Detect the basket names.
Create each basket.
Populate each basket with its tickers.
4/ Why this is useful
My current workflow could simply be:
Existing watchlists → Agent extracts/organizes them into Excel or CSV → Upload file to liqn → All baskets created automatically.
This removes the need to:
create every basket manually,
search every ticker individually,
recreate an existing research workflow.
It also works regardless of whether the original watchlists came from Yahoo Finance, Bloomberg, IBKR, Excel, or another platform.
